Now Get Paid To Use This Forum (no joke)

Alright I don't know if this has been mentioned since I don't wanna read through 40 pages of posts but doesn't Google say that ads can only be displayed on the site mentioned in their db? Like the one you signup with and the ones that you ad?

 

I've entered my Pub ID using the format shown in the CP. However I get this error message when I try to update my information. Suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

You did not enter the correct format for the Google AdSense Channel ID field. Please read the field description for the expected format.

 

You're required to have more than 50 posts to be eligible for revenue share.

Really nice option for users!

 

Once you are accepted to Adsense, you can display ads (and thus use your adsense ID) on any site you wish, as long as it is in line with Adsense TOS. I'm pretty sure I read here some time that Adsense themselves did say they don't have a problem with DP's 'Adsense Revenue' sharing. I personally think this business model is fantastic and unrivaled as the best web developer based forum on the web. Although I do agree with what's been said over the majority of these posts - this does leave the forum susceptible to pointless, countless, endless new threads.

However, I know DP will have it covered

Some say this might increase spam, etc... Alternatively, I think it's great because it makes me feel like my time here is worth it - even if only a few pennies. I put in my id but it doesnt seem to work. I keep getting an error by the board.

First of all i would like to say that revenue sharing is a genial idea. Secondly i have thought about another idea that might be even better to a lot of members - instead of putting your adsense ad you could put your own ad. That would be a lot better because i have read that people are only making from couple of cents to couple of dollars, and also lots of other users don't have adsense account. The ad that i am talking about might be a little text ad that would be placed under the adsense this way you would get the adsense and other forum user would get an ad. Also you could think of any other ad format. It would be users choise whether to put adsense or their own ad.
What do you think about my idea?

I see that you're displaying ads from google on two places. Below post and uper right corner.

Is this violating Google TOS because you can display one one person ID on same page?

 

Only one pub-id ads shows on the page at a time.

 

I never saw ads appearing in my channel ... i have provided my correct pub google adsense id and evena channel .

can anyone suggest me a reason why it happens . and what to do
