I want to create a "link to my site" page....I want to provide people with the exact code to use so they can simply copy and paste it.

The thing is, I do not know how to put the

    <a href="www. .com ">keyword</a>

tag on the page without the link actually becoming live. So, can someone tell me how to place the code on the page without it being live?

You don't mind people seeing it? You just dont want a live link?

Do it as a text field. See an example here.

In this example I am offering a way for them to add my site to their pages. The live link below that IS NOT related to the text field. It is just there to show them what it will look like.

Just copy the souce code which starts with <P><TEXTAREA and modify it for your needs.
