Novice programmer of C#

    Now my first question is what language should I learn first before learning C# ? I know Turbo C and C ++ but they are core language, I guess. But C# deals with classes which is an important part of OOP (Object Oriented Programming).

    Can anyone tell me what is OOP?

    I need to make an setup file (EXE) of my project using C#. It should run on other computer where the Visual Studio has not been installed. And I want to make my own made software key activated, means to setup my software anyone should use activation key.

    The answer to the question which language you should learn first: C# is probably what you need to learn first, before starting any other languages. C# is in comparison with other languages easy, and it helps you to teach the concept off OOP too.

    I started with PHP, and switched to C# btw.
