November discounts in quality directories

    Just a quick heads-up that I've taken advantage of a couple of directories offering discounts in November. Wow directory and DirJournal (see the blog).

    Kudos to Wow for their christmas theme :)

    And to the person who red-repped me and asked 'were you paid for that?' The answer is no. I browsed to those sites both of which I've been looking at for a while and took advantage of the offers. I have no affiliation with them and was just trying to offer helpful advice.

    I am really curious how much good a site like these will do. I took a peek at the pricing for DirJournal, and it ranges from $60 to $250. Looks like it's a PR6 site, but that doesn't mean all their internal links give PR6 juice.

    I'm skeptical about how good that expense would do. Opinions?

    No every directory is operated around page rank and the manipulation of page rank. Some of use managed to do quite well in the directory industry before page rank and link sales.

    iozoo.com is playing with the logo in every special occasion,it is not actualy a special theme but i find it refreshing...you can check cache for the Christmas logo.
