I'm not from Nova Scotia, but I am only a very fast Cat ride away in Portland ME. Welcome to DigitalPoint forums. :)

For those not in the know, the "Cat" is a really fast and very large ocean going catamaran car ferry between Maine and Nova Scotia. It does something like 50mph on open water and claims to produce the largest rooster tail in the North East. I haven't ridden it yet, but I really want to.

I was born, and grew up in Hammonds Plains (Bedford) NS, Just outside of Halifax. I now live in Halifax.

Thought I was the only DP 'er out here.

You still are... I am living in Ottawa now. Like most Maritimers I had to leave to find work... but I would move back any day.

That's fantastic... if you have any questions let me know.

And if I were you I would stay out east as long as you can... you don't realize how much you miss the slow pace until you move to Ontario.

BTW... do you have any family up in the Valley? I just ask becasue I was good buddies with a Robar in High School.
