    Probably to keep people from messing with kids - as often happens in yahoo chat. And they are probably obliged by law to let people know.

    I for one am glad they are doing that. I have 4 kids and knowing that at least there is an IP tracked by yahoo is somewhat of a comfort, but still nothing is fool proof.

    Its sure isnt - they need better tracking of chat rooms and not just some cop sitting pretending to be kid hoping to snare someone, even though the cops are doing a good job at catching the scum bags that troll the rooms (and I dont mean affiliate bots like Shoemoney :eek: )
