i have notice a drop in the pay per click with google. i use to get 1-2$ per click and now i get Cents. anyone else noticed this?
I've noticed a general drop in revenue but I attribute it to lower traffic rather than lower RPC. Actually, advertisers slack off during summer months and their CPC rates decrease due to less competition, which can result in lower RPC for us.
My revenues have seriously dipped over the summer, but my sites are seasonal with peak times beginning in September and peaking in March. Hopefully things will pick up in the coming month or two.
yeah it happened to me too. i don't know whether it is due the advertiser or maybe i am being smartpriced.
Huge drop past 2 months for me....1-2 cents for the great majority of clicks. Used adsense for like a year and a half and has always been stable earnings, until this summer. Hardly worth serving the ads anymore, some 200-300 clicks per day and earning cents.

Certainly do. Though I'm not sure if it's because it's the height of summer and less people are using the internet.
There are many variables why you would see the drops, although smartpricing can be one of the main reasons - also advertisers ending campaigns and therefore more lower paying adverts being displayed etc.
