Seems like there's been a lot of banning going on around here, and looking back at some of the threads, it's difficult to see any posting infractions. Are the mods just cracking down on stuff lately or are people just getting dumber in general.
Here's a question...There's banned members who are actively posting, while it says "banned" under their avatar. How does this happen?
probably they got banned today then, due to some action violation right after posting today or could be new "avatar" thing
You won't see the posts as they get deleted almost all of the time. I think people believe that since they 'got away' with bumping or whatever the first couple of times in a thread that no-one is checking and so they continue to bump or post stupid stuff like 'pm sent' (to bump threads). Of course they haven't gotten away with it - the mods just haven't got to it yet so when a thread does get reported and checked it is filled with bump-posts and the guilty party gets hit with multiple infractions, thus accumulating their infraction points to ten (temporary ban).
^^ that's what I say. It's fun watching all of the morons of the world run around and bump into each other.
I was looking for marketing, placed a thread in the General Marketing forum. It should have been in services for hire... So I got my first infraction!!! Really unnecesary. The forum is getting tougher.
Yeah, I had a question about SEO for google, and i put it in the "google" section instead of SEO, and I think I was close to being arrested. Luckily I have a good lawyer.
well it did say certain sections are just to discuss topics. That doesnt mean you can do buy/sell/trade in the section. There's BST section already in DP. and infractions, no big deal.
