Change your root password if you're a cPanel server administrator.
Within the last hour cPanel Inc. issued a warning about a compromise.
If any of you have submitted a ticket within the last 6 months beware.
One of their support servers containing details has been compromised.
Don't worry, cPanel have everything under control. This is precautionary.
Changing a password is better than suffering consequences for being lazy.

    Hello there,

This is the email sent out by cPanel:
This states that it only effects people who have opened a ticket with cPanel Support in the last 6 months. This does not effect all cPanel server admins.

PS - it is good practice to change your root passwords on a regular basis.

    Regards,
    Chris
