I have noticed a common concern in many of the threads here. People don't want their sites to look like "adsense" sites. There is nothing wrong with having ads on your your websites. I am a former newspaper publisher and I can assure you that many people spend time reading the classified ads everyday, just for fun - and that is all advertising. My visitors certainly notice that I have adsense ads on my sites, but guess what - they still read the content (a fair portion), they visit the blogs and comment, they play the games and some of them click on the ads. I have visited sites mentioned on the forum by people who are making a good amount from Google and guess what - some of those sites are in your face with Adsense. I repeat, in general, your visitors are used to having ads in their publications online and off and they don't mind. Have good content and the ads will take care of themselves.
Made for adsense sites are just that. No new or unique content just copied content with ads all over the site. Even with out ads google does not like duplicate content and most MFA sites are that.
i got a little confused reading this post. title says "adsense site" which suggests MFA sites and at the bottom you talked about having "good content". content based sites are not MFA sites so there's nothing wrong having ads on them. in fact, thats how it should be. having a content based site and running adsense on them
Well, I hate those MFA's and MFA's do not contain any contents. Confused with the title and the post.
That is exactly my point. I have noticed more than one post, where posters have implied that adsense ads will make their sites look bad. Or that adsense will downgrade the content on their sites. I just wanted to state that visitors have no problem with advertising in general and that adsense in particular does not effect the quality of a site by its use. I hope this make my original post a little clearer...
