Surely it's easy to beat competitors.

Surely you can see every single backlink they have so you can get simply see what you need to beat them backlink wise.

Also you can see onpage SEO.

Do you reccommend me just copying what my competitors do to beat them?

Using view source and yahoo site explorer.

Be unique, that's what seperates the 6 month only websites to the ones that move to 1st tier revenue. Optimization wise; yes you should do what they are doing and then some. :)

    I have more backlinks.

Is there a tool where you can see the backlinks and their PR?

His site is only 10 or so pages long. Mine has loads of posts as it is a blog. Does this have any effect on SERPs? It seems all the sites above me and doing better are css sites with a small number of pages and A LOT less content. It's a kick in the balls when people say a lot of unique content helps you out.

ssandecki I've emailed you by the way.

I'll review it. :) Remember what we discussed before regarding this. Time is the enemy of the impatient.

Yeah but apparently one of my competitors has been SEO guy for the last 10 years so knows what he is doing so I really want to learn from what he's doing as well as try and develop my own strategy
