Have you seen the 30" displays in person? They are *so* nice. :)

I have a 20" widescreen display and it's beautiful. As I understand, my 12" can't power the 24" or the 30" screen but it can power the 20" as I've seen for my own eyes.

The 12" can power the 23" Apple display (or pretty much any display with a DVI connector), with the exception of the Apple 30" one.

Windows :( Apple computers are way better for design, so whenever i get the balls to spend $3000 on the computer I want, I'm getting it. :D

I run windows. I do like Macs though, used to do tech support on them for an ISP. They are stable machines. I think most Macs are way overpriced though, and I am not too fond of some of Apple's business practices as of late.

Neither. I run Linux. Ubuntu to be exact. The software is both free and Free. This stuff is almost the exact same thing as Word, Excel, Publisher, Access, and Photoshop... it even opens up the same file types. However, it's free and legal.

Well careful, because Adobe is no longer going to make stuff for Mac. I never understood the statement about the design thing. I've used all types of operating systems and have deduced that the only reason people say that Macs are the best for design because they're "trendy" and "artsy" but see nothing better between any OS when it comes to design. I think it's just a trend thing. My friends and I were actually having this conversation the other night.
