Foxy, I have seen Shawn mention before that he doesn't spend much time looking at posts in the "Weight Questions Forum" if you had this in the Setup/Validation I sure Shawn would pick it up sooner.

Something is weird with it recognizing the end-user's IP address. Check the beginning of your ad_network TXT file. Does the IP address listed there show as validate.digitalpoint.com or as 216.9.35.51?

Looks like a DNS issue on your server, as it's not able to resolve validate.digitalpoint.com for whatever reason (if it can, it will show the actual numeric IP address there).

Thanks Shawn - I went and looked at other sites on the same server and found that they were there working with ad_network_216 so I changed this to 216 and now it is working!!!

Another site just fell out [which was running happily] foxy-web-hosting.com - I looked at it and it was showing the ads....so I checked and it was using the 216.txt I changed it to 366 and it would not show the ads - I changed it back to 216 and it showed the ads but does not validate...

So I 've switched it back to 366 and it shows on the 366.txt :

    1127995109|1|validate.digitalpoint.com|us82jsdd|1000|1800|4|1|MSIE-Firefox-Safari-Netscape-OperaCollectible Teddy Bears61387

And yes it is now showing the ads ... but it still will not validate!!!

Looks like the same thing... the server's DNS server is not able to resolve validate.digitalpoint.com for whatever reason.

I suspect installing a new version and it working was coincidental though. :)
