Not understanding something about the weight change that took place a while back

I had 40,000+ weight before the restructuring of the weight. I read that part of the new measurement benefitted site wide use of the coop, and I only had it on my forums because I couldnt figure out how to get it on my html pages.

I finally figured out the html situation, have the links on all pages now, yet my weigth is not coming up at all, nor is the amount of times my links are shown. For most of you, getting ads on the html pages probably isnt a big deal. For me, it was a long, tiresome effort. Was it for nothing?

roughly an increase of 75 pages. The way I understood what I read though when this change happened, it was supposed to favor those that had sitewide links, which I do now. I am just not seeing anything different from it.

How many more pages is that then what you had before? Are all 75 indexed in google (via the API tool)?

It doesn't really 'favor' site wide links, other then the cap was taken off so you could run it on all your pages and get more weight.

After re-reading the weight change thread, and your post, wendy, I understand where my confusion came from.

Oh well, at least it should help a litte in regards to ads being shown, not sure if it will be noticeable or not.
