Danielle, I remember a similar thread about advertising on your webite, and I would say that the same rules apply. What you do not want to happen though is to fill your newsletter with advertising, and your subscribers opt out.

I have one newsletter which has loads of subscribers, and not one has opted out, and from feedback this is simply because I don't bombard subscribers with banner and link advertising.

You should use your newsletter to market YOUR business services, that way you are making money from the newsletter because your subscribers are interested in your services and because your educating them, they sign up because they realise you know what your talking about.

    Hope this helps

when you are hiding your website's links in your newsletters as much as you do HERE in your signature -then no wonder you need profit

in newsletters - have useful and helpful information and include links to online pages relevant to that information

have RSS newsfeed for your newsletter subscribers and site visitors to keep them informed in an efficient way, entertain them in a blog with relevant information

Call me picky but you didn't mention anything about putting one link in your newsletter! If you don't want the advice, dont' post in the forum :)
