In visiting this forum, I am generally very impressed by the enormous quality and breadth of the knowledge base of digitalpoint.com members. I thought of a series of pages for my website that I would love to create based on survey data, and I would love to get a truly randomized sample of a size significantly larger than I could get from creating a new thread in this or any other forum. My idea is for a way to create surveys that would go to random users but would not be spammy. More specifically(opinions more than welcomed): Create a survey system where you can ask X number of randomly chosen digitalpoint.com members specific questions, just like survey monkey does, possibly using either survey monkey or something digitalpoint.com creates. Suggestions (take them or leave them): * Make this an opt-in or opt-out system, so that you don't have to receive surveys if you don't want. * The benefit is pay with real money. The method of payment could be the usual stuff web designers use to pay or get paid here (paypal, chase quickpay, etc). * Reward could be either: - Money is disbursed evenly to all who participated in the survey, or - Money is rewarded to a randomly chosen winning participant. - Digitalpoint.com could make both options available, or could choose just one. * Digitalpoint.com can make a profit by taking a cut of the survey profits. 15%?. Mods, I'm very comfortable with the math involved in random selection, so feel free to contact me if this sounds like something viable.
