i just bought a mac book pro and turns out to play battlefield 2 you need to run windows xp. i have downloaded bootcamp, i have a brand new copy of windows xp with service pack 2 included. and whenever i try to install the windows disk it will install for about 5 minutes then after i agree to the copy right stuff it says that i need to insert a previouse version of windows before it can install windows xp. so my question is has anyone had the same problem and if so how did they fix it. im not looking for anything special in windows xp all i need to do is load it and run bf2 thats all im going to use windows for. thanks -gjubi
ive seen this one before however, the problem we both had was not the same he did not have sp2 on hiw xp and my xp includes that, my problem is that it keeps saying to insert and older version of xp before it can continue installing windows xp.
