Then it is probably just the authorization charge which would be reversed anyways. Nothing to worry about.

Why don't you use Yahoo? Their domains are $1.99 for the 1st year and $9.99 the years after

larrayad, cause even on 3rd yeard already yahoo will be not cheap comparing with name.com

    $1.99 + $9.99 + $9.99 = $21.97 (yahoo)
    $5.99 + $7.77 + $7.77 = $21.53 (name)

thanks for posting that, i wasn't sure what the name.com renewal fees were.

if you don't need free privacy, godaddy is cheaper:
(with coupon, and there is always a coupon. privacy NOT included)

    $6.95 + $6.95 + $6.95 = 20.85

What I am going to say once again - there is no free lunch:) Frankly to say I prefer to dealing with companies who are good at something niche, so only domains, only hosting (well, bad example, but went for hostgator, at least they don't promote their domain department), only design, only seo, only programing and so on. That's why name.com

That goes with what I always say - keep your hosting and domains at different companies, so if there is a problem with one they can't hold the other hostage.
