If not making enough money through Adsense, then try to find valid reasons for that and don't just blame google for that. In next 10 years, internet traffic is going to explode and millions of oppurtunities will open up. Make your site ready for that big thing and try to offer something which people are interested in reading. Go to a beach or park and rethink your strategy instead of constantly looking at your adsense revenue report and feeling bad. You may have a site with content that is already there out, people may still find your site and read it. All you have to do is develop your own style and make that onetime reader a permanent/repeat visitor to your site. Remember this is what Restaurants do and you just have to copy their technique. Great advice, it's an attitude we all need to share, especially on those "down" days with AdSense. Thanks for the advice.
Not always easy to stay positive when you see an earnings drop (assuming you have some to begin with). But this is great advice, the internet is quite young still, the full potential is still yet to come. We are lucky that we are around now, and we can establish sites ready for the future.
Well said. The sites need to be developed with a visitor in mind - why would people want to visit and come back to my site? What can I do to make my site interesting? I find that sites that offer some kind of service/help are most successful - assemble a team of friends who know well a particular subject and create a site offering help in that area - you will get a large number of those who will be visiting, revisiting your site.
I talked to several website owners and most of them didn't have any idea of who their visitors or atleast who they are going after. Looking at some sites, people take an immediate decision that i too can do this and jump into starting a website. Before even analysing the topic or atleast the target audience, they get excited about the revenue potential. Atleast this line of thinking worsened with the advent of Adsense. They immediately start researching on how to buy domain and host it. When they finish all the work related to getting established they soon start worrying about their revenue and getting demoralized seeing no revenue or just few cents. My most recent website didn't earn a penny for almost 8 months. After that it averaged about $2-3. I was never concerned of that and still diligently kept on working on the site and tweaked it over and over. I went on adding services and content and today it is not only earning substantial revenue but also shows up on page one alongside my largest competitor. Here is my advice. 1) The first step is define your target and the path you are going to take to achieve that target. 2) Don't jump into buying a domain and hosting services. Just sit back and browse through internet to find similar services and learn what they are missing. 3) Do some research and find out where your visitors will be coming from. Don't just bank on google as new sites will not even show up on google for the first few months. My site took 16 months to show up on page 5. 4) Once you figured out your target audience, plan on how you are going to attract them to your site. Itz never easy to make money. If somebody says that they are making $3000 per month, ask him how long it took him to get there. Ask him, how many people visit his site and what services his website offers. How many hours does he put per day on his website. Hope you guys have many more to add the above list. link dev
Great advice. A common theme I see among many posts is click click click. The more I research I find that what really wins the race is content. I have started out with a free site that I did not have to purchase a domain or pay for hosting. Is this the best way to earn? I doubt it but it allows me to earn while I research before spending money to hopefully make money. All I wish is that I am able to make some money and those that are also chasing revenue will also be successful.
This is real great advice you gave. Start building those sites with great content and keep adding content to your site. Eventually you will have a powerhouse that the search engines loves. And make sure you have great keywords too!
You really speak the truth. I know why my adsense isn't making much, but I haven't done anything to fix it. I'm thinkingof trying a service that pays by impression, because I seem to get around 15k a day and my site is only in beta testing.
you seem, or you are getting 15K visitors/page views a day? Something does not add up here; one can make loads of money with 15K of visitors/page views a day....
People say, "Earning money is easy on online." But it is not easy. I have found recently a blog which says about earn money
Its easy to say think positive about adsense. I also said like you previously. There is no doubt adsense is best program for earning online for beginner webmasters, But there are many victims whose adsense account were disabled with out reasons or due to attack from competitors. So I think its better to use adsense along with other affiliate programs. There is less risk in affiliate marketing than in adsense although it requires little more knowledge to get success.
I am not earn much money, you are not alone. my incoming $3.6 made of adulu.com october I believe many people one day earning than my one month. but i don't fear it
I run a fairly large site (by now) and it took me two years of adding content constantly before I began to get a half-way decent AdSense paycheque. Even now I get highs and lows in payouts and there's no guarantee that things will be the same month on month. What drove my site 'over the top' with adsense was adding a large recipe section and seeing that into the 2000+ pages mark. As most of my site is really about funding a charity I'm running I began to think about this problem and came up with a potential solution. I've generated a ClickBank-based ads system which anyone can use. If you're interested then go here: http://www.celtnet.org.uk/info/cb_ads.php Basically AdSense is great but you need lots of pages and lots of visitors. If you don't have those then you need to add other potential revenue sources to your website.
i think you have 500k readers , i am making $1k from 30k unique visitors i dont know how much is your enough
parajuli_pradeep Getting banned from Adsense is off topic. Also discussing alternatives is not directly related to the current topic. What we are trying to discuss is, how to be patient and what techniques to apply to increase the probability of earnings. I have few blogger friends, who don't even have their own domain but make thousands of dollars. cool_78: Thats the attitude. Live for another day and assume that today is not yours. Brett Gian: How to make money articles are not that easy to follow, they just make you feel that it is easy. You still have to walk every inch of mile to cross that 1 mile. sussane: Define what is enough?
baumann93: That is correct. Define your site and visitors as much as possible. Don't make it universal. Confine it to one particular interest and you will soon see steady flow of traffic.
If someone want to make some money with adsense they need to be more patient than a cat. And stay focus. Never gived up. and never look at the paycheck of other people, looking a someone example are OK if they make small amount. But if you look at the 500$/day and compare it to yours 3$/day you may loose the "great joy" when you get your first 100$ paycheck in the mail. And you dont's want that be cool
