Not making any money with AdSense, What Am I Doing Wrong?

you ned minimum 400 visit /day to make money with adsense first focus on getting traffic then if it's there focus on keeping it ,this iz what you need'to do

 

Could you tell me what keyword is ? Maybe the problem is your keyword.

I thought you guys got it covered, I guess not. I also heard that crap blogs and sites don't earn much these days.

 

You obviously haven't got the AdSense part 'covered up'.

 

Move on to a different niche. If you want to continue making 1-2 pennies per day, then feel free to continue.

you do not make your site seo and this is a strong point to earn money with your site so do your site seo more and more and increase your keyword ranking in search engine

i make $2.50 day with about 200 to 300 uniques your ad placement or traffic quality must not be good at all. if i had 6000 i would be making $20 to $30

It all has to do with the niche you are in. Advertisers bid on traffic (ie. the type of sites that adsense ads are on), and they bid higher for traffic that is valuable to them. For example, my site on mortgages would be getting traffic interested in mortgages, and thus advertisers are willing to pay high $$/click on my sites to get my traffic. They don't want the traffic in your niche, thus they are only bidding pennies to buy your traffic (thus you will only ever recieve pennies/click).

Also need to see where the majority of your traffic is coming from. Is that 5-6000/daily from english speaking countries?

With 5-6000 visitors/daily you should be able to make more than, pennies, perhaps adsense is not the best method. Figure out another method for monetization. Look at how other film websites monetize (maybe netflix affiliate program?). Considered developing a mailing list? Engaging users in mailings, and then every couple emails prinkle in some affiliate offers?

so you're saying unless I switch the whole concept of my site I won't make money? do film sites not make money?

I have created a link wheel in some popular site such as live journal, squidoo and quizzila it,s not going to be cached.

 

It also depends on where you are getting your traffic from? Is it quality traffic and do the ads form a part of your content

 

USE CPA instead of adsense. this is my first advice.

If you don't want to earn from CPA and your site is built on WP, you should install W3 Total Cache plugin or other Cache plugin for videos to speed up your site.

 

With 6,000 visitors i'd agree
