Not indexed after 5 months?

I know that it's normal not to come up in search results for several months, or to have an entire site indexed, but I've got nothing listed at all after 5 months. I own many sites and have never had to wait this long to at least get the index page indexed. I even use google maps and that isn't helping either. I've done my normal slow progression of getting good link partners and adding myself to directories, but nothing is working.

    http://www.google.com/search?q=site:http://www.blueluxe.com

I even have another new site that's a month or two younger (and i've done less link exchanges with) but is already indexed:

    http://www.google.com/search?q=site:http://www.porcelainlimogesboxes.com/&hl=en

And even a test site of mine which is just a few months has the main page indexed:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=site:http://www.beelinebaby.com

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

It should not take 5 months just to be indexed by google with good bl. Maybe there something wrong with your site. MSN shows you have 2225 BL.

Happened to me once when I submitted a site to 400 directories before G cached the page. Did it when the site was a day old. 4 months later I knew there was a problem, filed a reinclusion request. A month later, I got a thank you note from G saying they recieved my reinclusion request and were fowarding it to the proper department. About a week later the site was finally indexed.

I've learned to go easy on the links at least until the homepage is cached.

You have a real problem for sure. Google right now won't even let me make a request darn it. It keep telling me I'm a bot or I'm passing myself off as some virus. Wish I knew how to do that :) .

What type of link exchange system have you got into. It appears without doing more research that you have chosen to get links with one of the more easy ways of doing so. Again I did not look real close. But many of your back links are not of the best quality.

Looking at your home page source your running some javascript for the inclusion of what, some kind tracker? If so be careful with that, Google hates them. Yes I know its Java, but the code is still read and it has googles name in the URL. I would not do that. Yes you have done it in the past and got away with it, but maybe not this time.

Why is the first 10% of your body's html all commented out?

Next, this site has no content on the home page. Actually it has none at all.

Your robot.txt file has exclusions in it, believe it or not that can cause problems with young sites, especially. This is not the case all the time.

By the way, I liked some of what appeared to be purchased links, but if they are above the radar, your in trouble.

Get some content on the page. Put some text links in your text that point out to top ranking sites on Google for the keyword your trying to get.

Use some H1 H2 tags to accent some of your pics or text.

Next time try to make your code more engine based. This site can have the same appearence but also be SE friendly.

Put some quality links into the home page and some good links into some other pages with content.

    I hope this iluminates.

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blueluxe.com%2F

you have 115 errors on that page

In my experience 3 errors will hurt your ranking considerably.

Have 115 errors may be a contributing factor to you indexing problem.

BTW, Thanks for the tip on Google site maps Greenguy.

No problem. The sitemaps tool can check for errors also. Ones that Google sees so that may help.

I did a multiple datacenter search here: http://www.seologs.com/data-center-check.html for http://www.blueluxe.com and a few of them turned up an old, completely unrelated domain of mine, www.shopitaliancharms.com.

shopitaliancharms had been using a meta-refresh redirect to go to an affiliate site just to pick up on any traffic it received from old link exchanges. But i haven't used that domain in about a year and it's just been sitting at a free webhost.

So I have no idea why google is pulling that up but I went ahead and did a 301 from shopitaliancharms to blueluxe. Any thoughts on whether or not that's a good idea?
