ok so i have had aucitonads running on my site now for almost a week.

    the stats are as follows:

    05/17 ths 4521 53 1.17% $0.00
    05/18 ths 3424 35 1.02% $0.00
    05/19 ths 1873 22 1.17% $0.15
    05/20 ths 1047 15 1.43% $0.00
    05/21 ths 1986 24 1.21% $0.00
    05/22 ths 539 10 1.86% $0.00
    Total 13390 159 1.19 $0.15

so whats going on here 159 clicks and no money from it yet.

    here is the site

i have replaced auctionads with adbrite. i dont know what went wrong with auctionads. i was looking forward to make some $$ from them.

anyone else have this problem? how do you guys make money with auctionads?

i have past judgement on auctionads to quckly as i did not read this until right now:

"And don’t forget when you view your stats, you will see impressions, clicks and your CTR for the first couple of days, but with $0 earnings. This is because there is a two day delay showing earnings. So don’t be alarmed when you see $0 earnings during the first couple of days, this is completely normal. So you will see earnings for today’s clicks update in your account in two days time."

at this time my auctionads account has $21.13 in it.

I have AA for only 4 days now so not much to say. I know it takes time to get some revenue. I will keep it on my sites for at least 1 month and will see the stats then. Here are my stats for the 4 days :

    Total 13908 135 0.97 $0.00

But any tips to optimize AA would be nice.

    05/15 <aggregate> 0 0 0% $5.00
    05/16 <aggregate> 4634 107 2.31% $0.00
    05/17 <aggregate> 3595 79 2.20% $0.00
    05/18 <aggregate> 3990 92 2.31% $0.14
    05/19 <aggregate> 5422 98 1.81% $0.48
    05/20 <aggregate> 5039 64 1.27% $0.00
    05/21 <aggregate> 5892 91 1.54% $0.00
    05/22 <aggregate> 323 5 1.55% $0.00

You do realise that you only get money AFTER someone clicks on the ad and bids on an item right?

Now one of you has been using this for 4 days and another for a week. That is not enough time to judge AuctionAds. You need at least 3 - 4 weeks to make a better judgement call. If anyone is bidding after clicking on one of the links, the auction they are participating may last for 2 weeks more for eg. Also there is always the chance they will not win. The ebay cookie from Auction Ads is still on their machine so you will get returns should they bid and win an auction even without going through your website.

Do note that you can't view Auction Ads stats like you do Adsense.

I thought you only got paid once the auction ended. As mentioned above, you need to keep it on for at least a month and more to see any decent results. You wont see much in a few days.

my stats "update" for a certain day almost a week after. it does take some time for auctions to end and for someone who clicked on your link to buy something.

    Hah..
Well, I ran auctionads on a smaller site of mine, it didn't work for me. I spoke to shoemoney about it, and he said that with all the bashing I did , he expected something of it..
I put it up on a larger website of mine, to see what'd happen.

    2902213 5613 0.19 $21.16

    5,613 clicks and $21.

To this, shoemoney said its strange but exceptions do happen.

What I'm trying to say is forget about auctionads. If you're not getting a decent income from them, ditch them.

AuctionsAds makes me well over $100 per month and my site is 100% not product driven -- gossip driven -- celebrity gossip at that
30 day cookie means you might see earnings show up at the end of the month for the first day of the month. Also money is earned when an auction ends.
If you are getting good click you will start to see revenue. I went 6 days this month with $0.00 in earning only to have $46 show up on day 7 -- patience

Ok don't mean to be a jackass but come on guys. There has already been 34278374 threads just like this.

I will save Shoe some trouble and give the reply he always does: "AuctionAds isn't for everyone".

If you don't see any positive results after a month or two, dump and run. But for ffs do we need a new thread everytime someone doesn't instantly make a buck?

    cheers

edit: now that I went back and looked at your site i came to a conclusion: it sucks. Half of the images on their are hotlinked from perezhilton.com. Real original there. Then I looked at your auction ads and I laughed. Lets see here, we have black text over a dark grey background. All your readers must have perfect 20/20 then eh? Maybe if you made them readable people would find them a bit more enticing. Quit blaming others, if I had that site I wouldn't expect to make any money either.

no worries happens all the time. We actually need to talk about how delayed the reporting is because ... as said above many people dont see earnings right away dump and run. I see you are running auctionads again so cheers. Would be interesting if you would post a comparison between adsense and auctionads for the month
