I have a recipes blog coming in first 10 results for a particular keyword. But still it receives traffic in double digits. How can i take the traffic to 1000 per day?Whats the other way round?
Better keyword research It's easy to be #1 on Google (or any other search engine) for a keyword that is only searched 10 times a day. If you are #1 for 100 different keywords, it adds up to 1,000 searches. Research 100 keywords in your niche with similar low traffic and optimize/link for all of these. Or get to be #1 for a keyword with 1,000 searches, but that's a lot harder.
It depends upon keywords. It may be that the keywords in which you are coming on top 10 there is no search/competition on that keyword(s).So first of all analyze your blog properly then start keyword research, after that optimize your blog according to those keywords.
Researching 100 keywords in my niche.....means i have to find out what all sentences or phrases that are used to search recipe site and include them in my blog so that my blog shows in google results up for those 100 keywords? Is that what you mean to say? 1.If yes,how can include those words in my blog post since they are recipe methods. 2.Should i give a brief description of each dish before starting out??? 3.That would give me some space to include those keywords.Am i guessing it right?
Well what do you expect if the keyphrase hasn'ty many searches Olso use the tool on dp to get an ideea of how many searches a keyphrase has ...
Yes, adding text is one way to do this. You can also check your website stats to see if you are receiving traffic for keywords where you may be on page 3 or 4. If you are, consider getting backlinks for these keywords and increase this keyword density on your pages slightly to bring these keywords to page 1. It's much easier to move from page 3 to page 1 than it is to move from nowhere to page 1.
