Not gettting users What to do??

    HI..i was a noob at Administrating the community..i recntly created a community for students..and posted a good stuff of about 7000 posts..
    but what actually is ...i not getting members..
    what should i have to do in order to get members..
    where should i have to announce my site in order to get users...
