I have submit the article at Digg And Reddit more than 24 hours ago.. then I checked google analytics now, i am not getting any traffics from them however, it got a pretty good traffic from stumbleupon.com which surprised me.. what went wrong?
I'm not also getting a good traffic from Digg and Reddit that's why I stopped it. Because it depends on the content with what you've submitted. I know there are many ways for an effective process. You can search it over the net.
Perhaps the article wasn't attractive enough? Not trying to be mean, but I've written dozens of articles - bm it by Digg - and no traffic. yet, I spun the same article and put it on EZA - and got tons of traffic.
Submitting to Digg or like minded sites is not guaranteed to pull in a large number of traffic, stumbleupon tends to depend on your following and whether or not it gets caught up in the cycle.
If you want to get traffic from social media, you need something that can go viral. The problem is that its hard to tell what will get many hits from what will not.
You will only get traffic if your submission gets famous there ! Otherwise you won't get even a single click from there. - Digital -
If you're submitting your own articles. Hardly people care to promote it, ask others to vote and submit your article. Do exchange if you can, that works most of the time.
