I have followed the instructions and set up the ads on my own site... they are being shown just fine... but I'm getting NOTHING in return. I gotta say, this program is probably the worst I've ever seen. For a technology and consulting company, I would expect a MUCH better website design. Anyway, back to the ads not showing up... I followed the instructoins, I got "validated", and yet my stats are all still at 0. This is after over a WEEK of serving up ads for other people... I'm about done with it, and am about to go to another ad exchange network... http://www.pc-multi-tool.com/ is the website if anyone wants to verify I'm set up right.
A couple of things: 1) Not all sites are giving statistics. The stats piece is relatively new and people who are running older versions of the code don't give out stats. (I think I still have one site on the old code myself) 2) You must ENABLE your ads. 3) Do a search in MSN or Yahoo for links to your site. You may see that the sites are displaying your ads already.
How is this relevant to your problem? Do you think throwing around insults will get you preferential treatment? Shawn has always been great in helping me when I have had a problem, so asking for help rather than throwing around pointless BS would probably work better...
Ha, If only you knew. Obviously you havent been around dp long enough to understand. If I had a site where the design had not really changed since 99 I would be very happy. So its not the latest aesthetics, it doesnt have curved little corners, or a big dose of orange highlighting. Sometimes its about whats under the bonnet. Oh look at google, I could design that site in an hour - Its only got a box in the middle and a coupe of buttons. It must be rubbish http://web.archive.org/web/19990822203738/http://www.digitalpoint.com/index.html
The biggest part of determining how many impressions you get is the perceived value of your site, which is very low. Google doesn't even know about a single page within your site at this point: http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.pc-multi-tool.com
Yeah, what is your weight? The lower it is the less exposure you will get. Because of what Shawn said above. It's a co-op, so you get what you give.
