A friend of mine is a scientist who has worked on the Human Genome Project and is currently leading another genome-mapping project. She is trying to get the word out on a volunteer effort her team at MIT is organizing that could help put an end to several common forms of cancer that affect both dogs and humans. I am doing my best to help spread news of this effort. I have written an article on this at one of my web sites.
