First, check your affiliate link, make sure its correct. Next, you'll want to check your stats and make sure that your getting visitors/clicks. If not, that could be a reason, LOL. Other then that, you might need to work on your campaigns a bit to improve them.

    Good luck...

Since 2009 started my sales fall off a cliff, so much you'd think im being scrubbed on sales but it could be totally legit and to do with this recession.

Check how many clicks you have. It can take 100 clicks or more to do a single sale. It also depends how you promote your affiliate programs. Many times, sale do not happen because sellers have the wrong clients.

post your website so that we can have a look to see if theres anything wrong with your site. also change your signatures to your site you have something like 'make money, make money online.....' no one is going to use that search phrase so no traffic is going to come to your site from it. simply use one of the phrases like 'how to make money online' or something similar.

hope that helps in some small way. good luck

Well the marketing strategy completely depends on your chosen product?

I use adwords with a lot of success for a variety of products, but as Seqqa mentions these are recession times. So ROIs are low..

With this being the case, how does someone run a successful, profitable cpc campaign? Clicks are usually around $1.00 and most cj payouts are less than $100.00.

I once spent $25 in advertising to get a $2.00 payout!

    Don't give up.

Sometimes instead of trying to find a CJ advertser to fit your website niche... you have to reverse it!

Find a high performing advertiser that pays "per lead", and then build a page on one of your excisting sites, create a sub-domain, or a brand new website based on that advertisers industry or specific niche.

It is much easier to got where the money is versus trying to make the money come to you! :)

    Good Luck.

I really said "it CAN take". 100 clicks at $1.00 with a conversation rate of 1% for a payout of $100 is a waste of time. It is good to mention it. Even successful advertisers lose money sometimes. If you do not know the conversion rate, then you need to try.

To be successful you need to choose good products with good conversion rate. Pre-selling your affiliate products helps to increase the conversion rate. A major factor is how much you pay per click. $1.00 for a click is really high, but the combination of all these factors is what makes it successful. To be realistic for a $100 commission product, it would cost you around $50. You can pay $1.00 per click if you have a conversion rate of 2%, but if you have conversion rate of 1% as I said, you obviously need to lower your bid. One common strategy is to bid on misspelled keywords or different keyphrases searches. More precise with less competition. Ex "used cars" -> "used cars Ford Escape XLT".
