Hello, I was making 300-400 $ daily 2-3 years ago. If I look now at my sites, sometimes I got more visitors than 2-3 years ago, even more clicks, but I just do not earn good anymore like in old times ... If you look at your stats, stats of all days, can you see a general lower income? Example I had 200 clicks 120 $, now with those 200 clicks I have not even 20 $ Or I was earning 400 $ with 2500 clicks, now it's about 100 $... How is/was your stats? Do you think you could improve your earnings with same traffic or less traffic? I am using adsense for 4 years At first I was making 0-40 cents daily, then 20 - 80 $, then 100 - 200, for a while 300 - 400 and now 20 - 50 edit: In 4 years I earned 68000 $ with adsense
More competition in the industry. this year is very bad year for me. I hope by this year end will be good.
I'm still a semi-newbie with adsense, so cannot comment too much about the lower earnings compared to the "old days". Lazino, have you considered changing your niche?
Well, I didn't try other niches... My niche is file-hosting.... Having adsense on two file hosting sites and on some other niches which doesnt bring much.... I dont know which other niches I could try... I am not good anyway in such topics yesterday I earned 55 $ with adsense... It doesnt sound much for me because end of the month when I get the payment it gets converted to euro and I realy get less money ... and europe is expensive to live so I dont have something from 1000 - 1500 $... I earned 68000 $ in total, if I look what I have from that money.... almost nothing... well ok i dont want to be greedy... its better than nothing and its good for a student like me... but I want to earn more like you all guys..
What do the others think? I ask those who is using adsense more than 2-4 years. Did your earnings improve or not improved?
Adsense is definently not like it was in the oldern days. I am in the same boat as you Lazino. More hits less profit! crazy!
Most of the time, I get $0.03 per click, so I guess you are correct, I am not earning good Especially in this month, my earnings are the lowest.
I think you are all still thinking that you can be like Shoemoney or something. That one photo must've been responsible for jacking up the number of Adsense publishers sky high. Probably added hundreds of thousands of new publishers by now, and still adding. Seriously though, Adsense should only be considered for noobs or if there isn't other better revenue options. Google will adjust your revenue in light of todays situation. Because those Adsense millionaires are like....few years ago. Today, a lot of things have changed. One major thing is the US economy. Secondly, too many publishers. Thirdly, click fraud.
I still do well with Adsense but compared to three years ago, the same number of clicks earns me about half of what it once did ... hard to build a business model on, so I try to think of Adsense as gravy and supplement my income with affiliate marketing ... Good luck, tasty
