Not earning an single cent.waht's wrong?

    Hi,
    I have a social bookmarking site http://www.xingia.com and atleast daily 300-500 visitors but not earning any single cent.
    What's going wrong? or what should I do to earn money from my site.

    You should think like your visitors. They come to your site to find bookmarks and then leave. I bet you have a very low rate of pages people view in one visit. If you want to make money with adsense you need more content.

    I think Adsense is not the best way to monetize your website. Try making a custom deal with an advertiser.

    i think you should also try with some text ads?? Pic ads are only useful when there are more than 1000 impressions daily

    why would anyone use this crap over Facebook or digg? What benefit do you offer your so called 300-500 visitors? Are you sure they are UVs and not impressions from you refreshing the site?

    I agree with the above. Choose a different platform because 300 to 500 visitors on this site isn't going to do anything to boost your income.

    He may have meant 300 -500 visitors PER Day. But it won't make a difference. There is no more market for Digg clones or bookmarking sites. This is not 2006.

    With this kind of site (I have 2) you really need to push the ads in the face of visitors, you have no other choice.
    And your ad placement is bad. Put the ads better. Help yourself by looking at 'in your face' ad placements.

    check your bounce rate. If people leave within first page, meaning your site content not attractive.
    Also if this is bookmarking site, it means all visitors do just submitting their content, they not looking for content, and in this case why to click on ads?

    I agree with digitalbrain
    more quality content more visitors, try to produce some quality content and more visitors and once you get more visitors your earning will start.
    well i have click on one of your link hope you will have get some cents at least :p

    I suggest to you three things,,,,,,,,
    1:Optimize your ads i mean change ads locations colors etc.
    2:increase your quality traffic
    3:post good quality content on your site
    then i am sure your earning going to high.
