Not competitive phrase but *many* random pages.

    Hello people,

    I found a phrase that overture says is search for about 100,000 times a month. When I search for the page in google, it finds 673,000,000 pages, however, none (at least none at the top) actually is about the phrase. They are mostly random pages with PR6 (one with PR8) which contain the words somewhere in the text, usually not even in the heading.

    Now my question is - can my site rank at the top even with a low PR, when the site will actually have the keywords almost everywhere? (no, not a spam site, just site about those keywords :p).

    I would say yes.

    If nobody is targetting those particular keywords then you should be able to rank.
