It's not our job to scan log files for whatever it happens with clicks. That's google job to do it. Is it so hard to see our IP we use to log in our accounts? Is it impossible someone that wants to hurt you to make invalid clicks? There are so many publishers that they don't care if they just delete accounts the make lot of money and they earn them by using us.

They should first clean their advertisers from the Adsense only pages that they buy templates for adsense otherwise this ad network will become crappy overtime. I get tons of ads from sites that are only for adsense profit

But did they say that this is only for march ? It you who says that right ? It can be for many months.
Do you only have proxies on that adsense account ?

Very bad, they should be able to provide proof - they could not have all been invalid? I would be quite insistant on this - but that is just me!

Historically google just bans you for life. I'll accept my penalty and gladly continue to use their service on my other sites.

Google is the best deal in town. Getting banned from google would cost me a *LOT* more than $750.

They will never leave proof, thats for sure. And they can all be invalid if they are from several months.

I know they can't prove it, so I am not after proof. What I do want is them to look at this again and only charge me for the invalid clicks. I just don't know what to say when I contact them.

I am saying it was march, because my adsense account had been virtually dormant for 2007 until March. All time on adsense I have only earnt $1550, so i very much doubt that 80% of all the revenue I have ever produced is invalid clicks.

Therefore I believe it was for the period of March.

The same exact thing happened to me. I got the same exact letter. I was running proxy sites. Did you advertise on Proxy.org ? If so then that was our fatal mistake. I have read on other threads that proxy.org is the the common factor in all of these proxy owners getting nailed.

I didn't pay to advertise there, but I was listed.

How much did you earn in the month? Or did you earn $3300 and lose it all?

Maybe they are doing a "deduction special" from all the advertisers or others from proxy.org ? Reading other threads it seems to have been something very fishy going on witch involved proxy.org in one way or another. Does this happen only to proxies that was listed in proxy.org ?

I think google is doing what paypal is doing to many users account. They suspend your account and WANT your money! However what they are doing is legal fraud protected by TOS.

There are rumours that a bot is going through the proxy.org list and harvesting proxies for their click attacks.

I don't think Google is that short sighted, which is why I believe they have slightly changed their banning policy. If they take money off people, then people are simply going to leave, which means less money for Google. They need to keep their publishers now more than ever, with YPN and MSN AdCenter breathing down their necks, plus all the scandal stories about banning etc (like this one).

How long did it take for google to respond to your initial email about the invalid clicks??

I am still waiting for a response after my reply to their email over 2 days ago!

Well you are very luck for not banning but your lost $1200 from your earnings which is not good for any webmasters. I think Google guys good mad because you earn $1,189.11 in March while they reduced $1200+ frpm account. How can possible?

    It is not similar like this situation BECAUSE THERE WAS FRAUD ON YOUR ACCOUNT. It is as is the police caught you stealing and then they beat you but do no put you in prison. So i think you should be satisfied; My opinion is that they try this new system;If you will complain i think the will ban your account;
For me looks very correct to deduct the money that you earned fraudulently.
