Hi, I am helping a client promote her ebook, and she was telling me that you are not allowed to mention how much money you are making in your sales letter. IE: With this program alone I have made $800 in the last week. Is this true? I find it hard to believe as I have seen so many of them packed with stuff like this?
I think you are fine. Will agree I see stats and numbers everywhere, that's how most ppl get lured and buy There may be limits to exactly what you can/cannot show, but rather than relying on your clients word, check clickbank TOS to be sure. Saying you made "$800 on a product in a week" and just because payment happens to be handled by clickbank, i think is fine. N.
I have had a quick look through their FAQ and publisher information and cant see anything there about it.
you can but you Clickbank must verify the payments if you make claims. Also with the new FTC rules you take a huge risk by making numbers up unless you take someonelses screenshot and cleary state that these results are from another affiliate or vendor. results not typical and we make no guarantee you will make money with this system...something to that effect. If you go to other vendors pages you can see the disclaimer section they have on the bottom of the sales page and they also have a disclaimer link that goes more in depth.Just remember CYA (Cover Your Ass)
