Not All Directories Are Great. Have A Look At "Height Of Stupidity"

Ahh well....

Another directory....obviously not making my day

And this directory had some name ....some name coz it's free! or rather was free until the last approval

Everything looks cool, doesn't it....the 3.1.0 version, the Green Shade template, cool number of listings.

However when i checked the backlinks to allydirectory using MONG's backlink checker, i foundthat this directory is using nofollow tag for both the sponsors, that is alivedirectory and allydirectory and phpld as well.

So why i didn't i contact him?
That's the first thing i did. I used the contact us link on the template but the guy doesn't have any mailing address linked to contact.php so the mail was not sent.

Okay then what next i did was submitted a submission saying about the copyright infringement. and blah blah.
Guess what? He accepted the submission Lol.

I was just wondering, how serious people are while accepting links. Do they just keep it free for the sake of it!. This guy is insane for sure. And i m sorry if it's your directory. But this definitely is not the best thing i have seen in long long time.

I checked on DP and this directory belongs to some guy name PIOTR. two posts is all he has. I have sent him mail, i have sent him PM, i have sent him a submission. ;-) Now i seriously don't know how to handle these kinda directories

In last couple of months or so, i have seen it being ripped four times
But i often find people using nofollow or linkless template.

Yes he recently changed it! I have the screenshot though! I saw his profile. And he was certainly online today and also probably in this thread.
I wonder why he didn't remove nofollow for my directory. Is it a WAR!

 

If he was online and still not removed that listing made by you, it means that he is a biggest idiot I have ever encountered so far.

I've noticed several sites ripping off my templates in the past, trouble is there's not a lot you can do. I've sent emails to the site owners but generally they're ignored. Think your name and shame tactic is a good one

I learnt this name shame tactic from someone else. I think someone from DP. And most of the times (almost 80 percent) it works!
For the other cases, we have to go with harder options. Obviously we don't like it! But do we have an option ?
