1. post helpful answers. 2. Use your own domain 3. are the answers to questions you are posting showing up within the search results?. If they are not, then the keywords being used need to be changed.
I got 176 hops for a fat loss product. My yahoo answers account got suspended today and I was about to reach level 5. Big waste of time!
Spend atleast half that time writing articles instead...good ones...that should guarantee you atleast some sales, otherwise all you'll have will be dud hops and the one terribly desperate person that literally buys the first thing offered to him. If someone's asking questions on yahoo answers, chances are they're in no hurry to have their problems sorted out.
yahoo answers will not give you a boost in traffic .., either you are not pitching it well or your product is not the best to convert to a sale
Sometimes i see Yahoo answers getting real high search engine position. If you want to put your aff link at least give some valuable info first.. i think that'll work.
Wow, 300 hours is alot! Yahoo answers should never be a main marketing strategy - at most I only spend about an hour a week on there. It brings me a little extra traffic although I've never tracked whether or not it brings me actual sales.
@Jaya good lord...dude, if you'd spent those 300 hours writing at least 2 articles per hour (3 very good articles are possible) then you would be rolling in sales of all kinds, I'm pretty sure you'd have seen atleast 10 sales from 300 articles, and yet you chose to waste those hours on yahoo answers. That's only meant to be done when you've done everything else you thought possible and have nothing better to do. People asking questions on yahoo answers rarely go back and check often, and are even less likely to buy something recommended from there, since they want a free solution in the first place.
Stick to strategies that work and abandon the ones that don't. Be flexible. You're the best judge on what works and what doesn't.
