Not able to make payments?

    I've seen others complain of similar issues on the official PayPal forums, however, none have received a straight answer.

    I created my PayPal account two days ago and am waiting to talk to my bank about verifying it, however, currently I have $59USD in the account from a small job I'm completing online for another person.

    I was trying to buy some Microsoft Points for my son, but everytime I try, I get the error "Please return to merchat and try to pay with another method".

    Why is this? Others I've talked to have been able to pay fine, however, not me.

    I'd appreciate an answer, if anyone has one. Thanks.

    I've tried it at two different online stores, as well as on eBay, nothing is working.

    You can try paying with your credit card via PayPal.

    I don't want to do that, I want to pay via my PayPal balance, which PayPal isn't letting me do.
