HI, I am not able to download the .htaccess file using the FTP from my server. The downloaded file always shows that it has 0KB. But the server version shows the size of the file. How I can download the file?
You are unable to download the .htaccess due to wrong file permission. Make sure the .htaccess file has a file permission of 644 or 777 and try downloading it again. If you have a root access to your hosting service, you can also view the file through SSH. Also you may download the file from your file manger if you have a control panel with your hosting service, but the permission must be correct on the file.
