Lately lot of noobs are making up new accounts and are trying to ruin DP marketplace for every one,i have seen a lot of them just posting to ruin sale threads and asking beyond retarded questions.. So I think DP should not allow newbies to post in sale threads and to bid on any sale. we all know that these empty pocket newbies have a disease of leaving 99999999 bids on our sale threads and after ruining the sale they simply ask us to remove their bids. So its very important that we should take care of this problem. Please share your strategies to help save our Market Place...
LOL. You were a "noob" at one time. I was a "noob" at one time. If they place a false bid, report them. If they are running up their post count, report them. If they are being a troll, report them.
I think the Marketplace is the most heavily watched forum by the mods so any report comes in from that forum gets sorted straight away. Just take bk871's advice and use the report function to keep them noobly noobs at bay.
Add a two line 'tip of the day' or 'general rule of thumb' to your posts with positive suggestions on how to respond.... Buy a premium membership and tell your friends to, so Shawn makes more money and adds more mods/admins and systems to improve things like he's been doing so much of lately.
I think Shawn is not mad behind money. That is because, if he wanted money from Premium Membership and this forum specially he would have placed many ads on whole forum as well as made money restrictions for normal users so they would be forced to upgrade as Premium Member. The thing Shawn is looking for is a quality and well-managed forum. Which shares good information to people. And if he finds any needs in it he would certainly do it.
Shawn is already doing a pretty good job and I guess.. it is 'the time' which is his constraint and not the money. Btw... moderating is not a paid job, for money to act as hindrance! Regards, RightMan
I think That is not true,i have seen members with less then 10 total posts, posting and replying to sales thread in Buy, Sell or Trade forum.
