    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Ok let me start out by saying I don’t want to violate any TOS agreements with google In anyway.

My question is does any body know what the criterion for a user being countered for an ad click is?

That’s to say if a user clicks an ad on my site, how long is it till that same user/ip adress can click on the same ad (or group of ads) before Google will see them as a new user or what not?

I'm asking because I seam to get users that click on my ads and not much revenue that’s to say somebody keeps clicking to be nice or something?

Google doesn't disclose specifically how they determine click fraud. Best thing to do is not click your own ads, don't ask others to click them, and not worry about it. Let Google do their job and determine click fraud on their own.

It is slightly worrying that you can't find out if they are paying you for every legitimate click. If Googles profits were down they could easily bump a few of us Adsense users and we would be none the wiser.

I'm not really that bothered as the revenue isn't a great deal but it would make you think

Ad value decrease if same IP is clicking the same for a day. If the same IP is clicking your ad so many time it may raise a red flag on google side.

How do you know that? I'd like to see anywhere that Google has made that statement.

@compar, I have no proof on that. Its merely based ony my experience using adsense tracking script and some webmasterworld member post.

I don't know whether or not this is true, but I was under the impression that the advertiser would be the one to change ad payouts on partner sites...
