Hi, I'm tired of searching for the answer so I thought I'd try DP cause you guys are uber smart. :)

I'm trying to connect my new Macbook to the internet via Ethernet. It is asking me for a DHCP Client ID... or a PPPoE login. The OS on the laptop is (obviously) Mac OS X 10.4.8 and I'm writing this post on a mac mini (10.4.9).. I use Wide Open West (WOW!)

Is there any page I can go to that will give me the client ID or PPPoE info?

    Thanks.

I assume you have a DSL connection.
Did you configure your router for the new laptop?

It's a cable connection. And yeah, I need to find the page for the router configuration. Right now I have a wired router, I'm looking into Airport extreme.
