Noob to databases

    I want to start a niche directory of businesses and I am thinking of buying a database of the listings. The database comes in a .csv file and seperated by town, state, address, etc. I have never installed a database and am not experienced with programming or mysql at all. Is this a daunting task for someone like me? Where can I find information on how to do this?

    Not that hard as you thought.I was in the same situation and I asked a programmer to do that for me but he said he was too busy to do that.Then I figured out myself in a few hours.
    What script are you planning to use?
