Hello, Can someone give me some advice ?-- I am a newbie, trying to get going several sites, like work-in-switzerland.com , but I am stuff wrong and I don't know what it is. After 3 months, the site has about (400 visitors/month - 20,000 hits) but the adsense is still virtually nill (like, 03 cents). There are about 3000 page impressions per month. Not great, I am sure -- but 0 adsense ?? For example, so far for March there are 1600 page impressions, 3 clicks, page cTR .13% and earnings: 9 cents !! Can anyone glance at the site and maybe give me some advice ??? Thanks, Howard hdx9@hotmail.com
Your blending is absolutely terrible. You don't have enough content for people to browse your site. Your site technically is quite boring. First rule of site design, have an professionally designed site, have interesting content, blend your ads well. 400 visitors/month - come on my friend, try to make that 400 visitors/day and then you can expect to earn around $3-4/day.
You have a lot of text on your homepage.. I would suggest using a different ad format. Try the 250 x 250 text ad format and make your content wrap around it.
I get only 50 uniques/day on Beyoncé Interactive (sig) after 1 1/2 month and I'm at $1.00/day. Building links ATM, you should do the same... trying to get to 100 uniques/day by April.
I got more than 100 Uniques IP per day, But as I am just beginner or web page and blog amount 2 months, with no experience before. I got only small money per day, but it's ok for me, Proud that at least i can doing a webpage ^_^

Like you did in Funnytimes, I put ads with same color/font for posts and for menus.... could you be more specific with your blending advice... Michelangelo and 8everything, too much text -- I will experiment with different ad format. But Michelangelo, what do mean by 'use more ad units' because I am at the maximum of 3 (one on the menu bar and one in each of the two postings....) Thanks for your help,
Funny Times is not a good example - it is fairly new site and I am still working on making it better. Look at the other links in my sig - Try to find the link unit and you will see what I mean by better blending. You might want to consider redoing the entire page design first - keep in mind where you will blend your links with the content. Then you can redesign the site, and use similar color for your ads.
