Hi, Sorry for the Noob questions below, but I'm just getting into SEO and I have to start somewhere! 1) I keep hearing about keywords. I know keywords from the fact that I use keywords when I search with google, but what I don't really get is the link to an actual website. Is the point to put certain highly searched words or phrases which are relevent to your website, actually IN your website? and if so where and how? and whats best? 2) Is there an automated way to find out, where my website would on google rank according to what keywords are searched? I found one website that did that, but it said I needed a SOAP key? (which I'm faily sure I don't have even though I have a adwords/adsense account) 3) Someone recently offered to buy my google page ranked 6/10 domain name recently, whats the big deal about google page rank? is 6/10 good? it doesn't seem to be getting much traffic even though its 6/10! 4) I know its a combination of factors that gets you to the top of the page in google, but is there any real way to compete with websites that rank highly when they have many 1000s of users, and advertising etc etc? thanks for any advice. flashculture
