Hi everyone. I just set up a CJ account and would like to begin promoting their products but I have some questions I couldn't find the answers to on their site. 1. How come some of the links I'm given for products have 1x1 pixel images in them, but others do not? 2. Some of the links I'm given have the link displayed in some text. Is there any problems with if I want to use a button on my site that says "click here for more" (which I use for all affiliate links on my site)? I don't want to have my CJ offers appear different than all my other affiliate offers. 3. How come I don't see my account ID anywhere in the link (like you do with Clickbank, for example)? How will they know the sales are coming from me? 4. I use .htaccess to redirect my affiliate links. This works fine with Clickbank. Is this ok with CJ, as well? Thanks!
All those questions have been answered here before ... 1. It's a tracking image, if it's not in some links, then don't worry about it. You can remove the 1x1 pixel if don't care about impression tracking. 2. Just grab a generic home page text link and use that with any anchor text you want. Some advertisers offer a redirect/deeplink url, which lets you select any page on their site. 3. Your PID will be in the url somewhere. You have a PID for each of the sites that you've added to CJ. 4. Yes, you can use htaccess/php redirects.
