This is going to come across as a noob question I am sure, sorry. I have been reading and searching and reading and searching and cant really find the answer. I want to sign up for some Affiliate accounts, like Azoogle etc. What I want to do is examine the offers then build my landing pages / domains around the offers I am going to market via AdSense and other PPC campaigns. (probably content network type ads) However, the catch 22 is that to get signed up it seems you need to already have a website. It would seems silly to build websites based on products you dont know about or aren't linking too yet.. Does this make sense? Also, it would seem silly to just throw together some pages and submit that, especially if the sites get no traffic. What does everyone else submit as their website to Azoogle and others to get approved for their account? Can anyone share some examples of websites they use when applying? Thanks
Most of this networks wont really check your site. Just try to sign up with domain that you own even if it doesn't have site. Other way is to find networks or aff programs that you don't need site to work with them. Like amazon and clickbank (could be mistaking about the last one).
We check every application, but we also understand that there are legitimate times when an affiliate has alternative, non-website marketing methods. The best thing to do is contact the network and explain. If they don't help, then they may not be worth working with anyway...
