Hi, I am almost finished with a product that I think can do fairly well. This is my second product and my first one I just promoted through my blog and used ejunkie to sell and create an affiliate program. The reason why Im thinking of listing on clickbank is because of the huge number of affiliates I could potentially get. To those of you with experience in launching products, is it smart listing with clickbank? What are the pros and cons? How easy is it to get approved and set up? Thanks in advance! Diggy
It is really simple actually. 1. Go inside your clickbank account 2. Select Account Settings 3. Select My Products 4. Select 'Add New Product' 5. Enter your details and submit your product for approval. Within 24 - 48 hours someone from clickbank will review your product and contact you. If it meets their requirements, they will give you a link where you will pay $49 fee and then your product will be in their market place. Simple!
Once set up, what you need to do is to create different items and build your sale page and start selling. Good luck.
I would go with clickbank if you think your product will convert well. Make your landing page for your product, promote your product yourself and see what kind of conversion rates you can get. Tweak your landing page to maximize your conversion rates and test out different colors/images and see how everything works. Once you can get a converting product at the industry standard make sure you provide your affiliates with some marketing resources like banners, keywords, articles, etc. Then you can promote your product to affiliates on different forums and hope that you get some affiliates on board helping you market your product! Make sure you show conversion rates to your affiliates they will more much more inclined to market a product where the vendor has spent some time marketing his own product himself. Pros: Easy and cheap to get set up !
Promotion and marketing are tough to get started for sure, but I just wanted to make sure that if you do decide to roll with clickbank that you're protecting yourself! Clickbank products can be stolen and accessed rather easily (take 5 minutes on your favorite search engine and see for yourself). If you've truly invested in your new product, make sure you go the extra mile to protect it! Best of luck to you.
I have over 94 products on clickbank haha! I make a killing on clickbank and I only have shared my secrets of how I am able to produce a new product ever week or every 4-5 days and getting it on clickbank with mass affilaites promoting them. I charged a customer $6,497 once and he made over $40,000 the next week, so yes deffinitly list yourself on clickbank!!
Thanks for the awesome replies. I will list on Clickbank, should have it up within the next 3 weeks Woo, excited!
