Noob Pinging Question

    I am pretty much new in blogging, so in pingin too.

    When I ping my site after updating, do I ping my homepage url or url of post just made ? :eek:

    you enter your homepage url. the ping service will do the rest.

    "Pinging" usually notifies the popular services that your blog has been updated, so they can go to your blog feed and index the latest entries to it's search results (Google Blogsearch) or put them in a list with the other blogs, updated in the same time with yours (Weblogs.com). At least this is my simple explanation. :)

    Another service, which I use, is Pingoat.
