I am new to this domain name thing so please bare with me. I had purchased 7 domain names and read that its not a bad idea to park the names with a company, so i did with sedo. My issue is that google will not recognize/search for that name. when i type in one of my names for example www.costumringtones.com in the search engine i get no results. What am i missing. I read something about indexing ? I think that might be the issue but I am to tally clueless about how to go about it. I tried to get it indexed with google through one of their tools but then it askes me for sitemap? I have no idea where to get a sitemap so i google on how to get one. I found some website that suposedly does it for you so i Put in my web adress and it spits out an error saying the website does not exist? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Bottom line is I want to see my name come up in googles search engine.
Do you have any established sites where you could get a few backlinks to your parked domains? the thing is with them currently having no content (because their parked) it means it may be hard to get backlinks and backlinks usually help to get your sites listed quickly in the search engines.
i park domains with godaddy and they allow me to send traffic with any way i want also with adwords , i can use also targeted keywords for each domain i park does sedo allow to send traffic and choose keywords for the park domain ?
