Read everything Google has on its Adsense page. It is imperative you stay within the guidelines. https://www.google.com/support/adsense/?sourceid=aso&subid=ww-ww-et-asui&medium=link
Sign up for google, and if you don't already have a blog - I suggest using WordPress and then downloading the Adsense Deluxe Plugin. You could have a blog complete with Ad's in less than 10 minutes easily.
1. Visit google.com/adsense and read all about them. 2. Put Adsense on your blog. 3. Get quality traffic 4. Earn money! 5. Be happy!
we'll ya .... thats the focus. i already have a basic blog with Adsense on it. although it doesn't make any money . my google earnings for this month $0.0 . its alright i have to put quality content onto it. i have been reading thru' various threads on this forum like how u shud set urself targets to achieve per month. well, yeah . i am in the process of adding some 'GRANDE' content. then i will move to marketing . i am also in the process of getting a dedicated hosting for me using WordPress. how abt SiteGround or blueHost ? can u guys suggest me one . i found BlueHost to be ok ... ??? again , thx for all the helpful advice peeps.... i know i'm no Steven Colbert , but i speak the truth.
Dedicated hosting is expensive. Why don't you get a budget or medium host first, then upgrade to a dedicated server if your site gets so big that it needs it. That way, when you are forced to get a dedicated server, you'll know you've "made" it.
There are many hosts that are only $5-10/mnth that will work fine for a new blog. Blog are mostly text so you will not have tons of data transferred and more than likely you will be fine for quite some time with one of the cheaper hosts.
