Hi. I am NOOB in Affiliate Marketing... Could anyone who has experience tell me how/ what is the right way to start affiliate sites? and How to get visitors (targeted one) - i mean do we use adwords or other things? Please give me advices...I want to learn affiliate stuffs. Thanks a lot
Affiliate marketing is a huge industry.There are its own tactics for each niche/products.But the concept is same, you got to make buyers meet sellers and complete the sales.There is a lot to learn and I think I won't be able to tell you everything in one post.You got to read alot.If you are new, I would recommend you check out wealthy affiliate in my sig, I have learn affiliate marketing from there and now I'm making good money with many affiliate networks.Its really worth if you want to learn affiliate marketing.Actually, you can learn affiliate marketing without joining wealthy affiliate but you know what, it will take you 1 year extra to reach the same level if you join wealthy affiliate.They will teach you from the basics upto the advance level and there is a good forum where you will get help. I really want to help you.
I agree, I have been reading posts on this site for a few months, and just registered today. There is a wealth of information here at the DP forum, however, no one in their right mind will spill ALL of their tricks. Sad, but true. You will have to committ yourself to a lot of reading. Dont waste your time with most of the ebook offers out there, they are filled with generic and outdated information. Go to your local book store or library and read all you can about affiliate marketing, pay per click marketing and article marketing. Yes, these books will bedated as well (the internet seemingly changes daily) but you will learn the mechanics and have an understanding of the lingo, which will allow you to better understand the threads and posts on this site. Knowledge is power my friend. And power is victory!
Hi V1V1, If I could make one suggestion at the outset of your affiliate marketing career- think long term. Many affiliates start out wanting to make a quick buck. They want to know the best converting products, slap up a google adwords campaign, make some commissions. Fast. After a while, smart affiliates get tired of fighting for every commission. That's why I highly suggest looking into setting up a squeeze page and building a mailing list. When you have a mailing (email) list, you're building a long term business. Not a short term money making scheme. Then, after you have a mailing list you can continue to market to them without paying for traffic. This is a science unto itself, and I can't possibly post everything you need to know here. A previous poster suggested Wealthy Affiliate. You should probably take their advice. It's a one stop shop for affiliate info. Hope this helps.

Product review sites tend to work well for alot of folks. Getting traffic to your site is a pretty broad subject. It all depends if you want to use free or paid methods and how fast you want that traffic. Be well.
